I would like to request a new feature on KA. A lot of people know there are some really good programmers out there creating programs. I would like to request a remote program sharing feature, allowing two plus people to share a program and work on it together at the same time. Where the program puts the creator's name, put both of the creators' names there to give both credit. This would be useful to do instead of having two people work on separate programs and combine code. We could have a new button which allows us to have certain users edit the program, but we could also add in a filter where only the original creator can delete all of the code. This would be to avoid anyone wanting to delete the program. Thanks!

KhanAcademy programming is not designed for collaboration. There are many instances where errors will occur. What happens if two people are working on the same program at the same time? It would have to work like Google Docs. If you are really interested in collaborating with other KhanAcademy members, I recommend getting a GitHub account. GitHub was designed for collaborating, and it has great tools that help you do so. The code from GitHub can then be transferred to a KA program. Note that GitHub does not run the code. When each person is actually working on the code, that person could paste the current code into KA, edit it, and paste the code back into GitHub to save.

While GitHub is nice and would provide a solution to the problem, I feel that Khan Academy could implement a simple version of Git hosted on their website along with lessons on how to use it. Lessons on how to use Git and GitHub, along with a place to practice, would be a valuable addition to the KA programming community.

As a side note, I think folders to organize programs would be awesome!
