Help with Math study

I am entering in a math competition. It's called the Math Counts competition and I'm in 8th grade. I just don't know what to study for because I try studying for specific subjects/skills from the past competition, but my friend told me its going to be different when I go to the state competition. Any suggestions?

I've learned Algebra 1, some of Geometry and Trig, and bits of Precalc (combinations and permutations)

We have some hard math competitions in Denmark, where I usually just study a bunch of the past tests and then there are some main subjects we will have it in, where I try and study as much as I can from them, I would go through the last few(3-5) years and try and be sure you can finish those, and then try and supplement with some other subjects that might come up.
