Another user got banned, and I was working with them prior to their disappearance. This is their first ban, and they only have two weeks assigned with restrictions. They have parental bans from submitting an appeal. This leads to a general question that several other users have asked:
Is it possible to submit an appeal for someone else, given their profile and account info?

Thanks for your question -- Community Guardian here. We do not accept ban appeals sent on behalf of another user. Discussion suspensions are only given under more extreme circumstances, and we want the appealing user to be able to identify what led to their ban and demonstrate that they will contribute to our Community in a positive and meaningful way. This is also a matter of the user's privacy -- we do not share the status of a user account with anyone other than the user themself.
