Why do Home Educators not have the option to assign work to their students?

I am a parent, teacher, coach. Why don't you just make a new account for your child and assign all the things you want to assign as the teacher- parent

Hi! It's totally possible for home-educators and non-traditional instructors and tutors to assign lessons on Khan Academy through the same classroom teacher tools: create a teacher account, or enable teacher tools on your account, and use it.

Yes, I understand that on KA, the parent account has only monitoring features and no assignment features, and a parent or tutor who wants to assign content must use the teacher tools. For learning how to use these teacher tools, try the Khan for Educators lessons. While again intended for classroom users, the tools are all adaptable to homeschooling needs too! :)
