I need to know if I can set up an administrator account to oversee usage and data for Khan Academy. We are using this fantastic resource with our students, but would like to have the ability to pull data for the entire school as well as access teacher accounts. Please advise how an administrator or curricular coach can create such an account, and if more than one person can have administrative rights at a school.

My name is Julianne Russell and I am a teacher in Boise, Idaho. To my knowledge, there is not currently an "administrator" function available through Khan. An administrator could create their own account and ask all teachers to have their students "add" the administrator as a coach as well. This would provide the access to reports on student activity that you are looking for. Depending upon the size of your school and the number of different levels of math that are taught - this might be a very large group of students to organize according to classes... However, Individual coaches can easily create regular reports and share them with an administrator whenever needed. This might be the easiest way for a curricular coach to get the data they need.
Access to a coach's account is not a feature available with Khan Academy. In addition- the time a coach spends looking at data and creating reports does not show up on any report. The only data/time that shows up on a KA report is the time a learner spends learning and practicing topics. So if a coach practices topics and watches videos to check them out for their own class- that would show up on a report. But the time I spend looking at my sudents' activity and mastery- none of that shows up in a report.
