I had my students use their Google accounts to sign up with Khan, and then accept me as their coach.
Then, when students tried logging in with Google, another student was logged in. Even after we logged that student out and they tried again Google account, it would automatically go to that students account that was logged in the first time we tried.

I’m happy to help get you logged into the correct account using Google SSO.
You and your students may be running into this issue because the account information that's saved under your Google Single Sign-On (SSO) is for a different Khan Academy account.
I'm afraid that Google SSO will only hold the account credentials for one account at a time. This is a setting that is controlled by Google and is not under Khan Academy purview.
For you to log out from the incorrect Khan Academy account and access your account using Google SSO, clear the browser's cookies and cache. That way you'll be requested once again to select or enter the Google account with which you'd like to sign in.
You could also try to log in manually using the email address or username set in the account + its password.

Hi Keri, my name is Megan G and I am middle school math teacher in Chicago. I work with Khan Academy as an ambassador too. Are your students using Chromebooks to login to their Khan Academy accounts? I use my students' GAFE (Google Apps for Education) email accounts in my classroom as well. If you use Chromebooks, you will have to log out of the student gmail account on the Chromebook and have the student login with their GAFE email on the device. Khan Academy will pull the account information from Google, which their accounts are sinked with. This is COMPLETELY what is happening to my class.
We are signing in on a PC in a comp. lab.
Kids are trying to log in and another students name keeps coming up...even if we log out!!!
PLUS - once they were logged in if they (accidentally) click on my name as the coach, they and went directly to my account page!! That is ridiculous!!
Hello all! My name is Lisa Krueger and I am a Khan Academy Ambassador teaching in Chicago. We had this same issue last year before I realized it was because of how the students were logging into Khan Academy. When a student clicks the Sign in/Sign up link and then clicks the red Google bar a tiny little box is automatically check that states Remember this approval for the next 30 days. Students need to uncheck this box before they click allow. It is an issue that has been added to the 'wish-list' being compiled for Khan Academy developers. If a student is already logged in then have new student enter username & password instead of clicking red Google bar. Hopefully this helps. I have set up classrooms for my students for Continuous Learning in our state of NM. However, if siblings are sharing a computer, how are they going to log in to Khan academy? Two people in one household are not able to log in to their individual classroom. It keeps redirecting to the other.
What do we do to fix this issue?
same Deb Reese , every time I want to get in my account that is linked with college board, it brings me to this one that apparently has the same gmail connected somehow but a totally different account. I can't even get the choice to login to a different one now, and I didn't click anything that says remember me for 30 days nor was the box checked.
Same problem here. I have two users on the same computer with Khan Academy. Even if we're able to log out of Khan Academy AND Google and go in with the other user's Google, Khan will still open with the first user's account.
It's the same problem the rest of the people on this thread have encountered/are encountering. Please help!
Hey so I've made a teachers account online and on google chrome it says that the account is made, I have students and stuff but when I log onto the app it doesnt log onto my teachers account, I'm trying to keep track of the progress that is being made but I can't even see the teachers dashboard
