Khan Academy Needs Stronger Community Forum
(Also posted in content request and feedback)
Before I go bashing I want to say this is a great non-profit and I am very grateful.
However, one of its weakness is community forum.
1)For starters to even post in 'support community' I had to make a second account for it which deters people from participating (note the most followed thread only has 39 followers with less than 5000 post compared to the millions of users)
2)Khan academy doesn't support helping find coaches/teachers. This is a main reason to empower a community forum, so the community can help supports itself. An example would be how codecademy does it. They have a Q&A forum and people from casual users to moderators chime in with helpful remarks within minutes of a post. I would love to see the same from Khan Academy.
As I am sitting here doing a Mastery Challenge in math I am getting "There are still more parts of this question to answer." but I have the answer filled in and its not saying its wrong. I am wondering what I am doing wrong - and if I post here to find out what I am doing wrong it usually takes days if at all to find out.
A better community forum could only help enrich the Khan Academy experience.
Please and Thank You.
