Hello just wanted to leave my opinion on the new "great" khanmingo. It's ridiculous that you have to pay for such a thing, and honestly this tells me everything I need to know about this site. Access to quality education should never be a privilege. All this new ai garbage is doing is finding a way to funnel more money, which could easily be done in other ways instead of creating a greater divide within students. I'm really disappointed in this decision and quite honestly have lost a lot of respect for the platform. This just shows where the true focus for the site is.

I know you could just directly go to the chatGPT website and ask it instead. idk why they have it behind a paywall.

Unfortunately, chatGPT is a proprietary software. In order words it costs money. That being said I don't think AI is an major game changer. The key problem of knowing what your definitions, theorems and axioms is very important.

If you put in the hard work you will get somewhere. The Khan Academy Q/A is always available and you can search the top-voted, recent, trending questions.

Hey, Khanmingo needs donations. It's a great tool to study. There were Flip Phones and WiFi. Now there's Ai, Chat GPT. I've been testing Khanmigo, and it's been working great. This is one of Khan Academy's most significant updates. This is the next level of technology.

To summarize, Khanmingo needs money. I think Khanmingo may be accessible for free at some point, but Sal & his crew need help now. Before they make Khan Academy's AI chatbot free, they need our support.

Didn't they say that donators (and teachers) get PRIORiTY for Khanmigo? I haven't watched the intro video in a while, but I think they said that once they get enough donations just for the site as a whole, that they would release Khanmigo for free to everyone, and that the "cost" for it is meant to serve as a thanks for the donators.
