Multivariable Calculus Mission
Does Multivariable Calculus have its own mission where you can practice skills, or is it just all videos?
As part of our Support Community improvement project, we’re preserving inactive posts that have historical or community value and closing them to new comments. This is one of them!
If this post covers a topic that you’re interested in discussing with the community or requests a feature you’d like to see on Khan Academy, you can try to find an active post about it and add your thoughts (or feel free or create a new post if it doesn’t yet exist in the forum).
Collegiate maths like multivariable are greatly underrepresented on Khan Academy and will probably remain that way as long as the site is being pushed as a replacement for common middle school curricula.
I *love* the multivariable calculus videos that are available on Khan Academy (well, let's face it, I *love* all of the stuff on Khan Academy).
I would like to cast a strong vote for the developers to create an in-depth mission for multivariable calculus. As the number of machine learning devotees continues its exponential growth, I would expect the interest in multivariable calculus to grow substantially.
Thanks for your consideration!
I would also like to see a mission for multivariable calculus :D
I've voted up this request, a Multivariable Calculus mission and more exercises have been a frequent request. I'll pass it on to higher staff and see what happens. =)
are there other valid online resources to practice multivariable calculus?
youtube channel of professor leonard has lessons that I follow in parallel to my study on kahn academy, But still it would be great to have some practice on this topic on kahn academy.
I would also enjoy a multivariable calculus mission.
For the meanwhile, you can use MITOpenCourseWare, which has a multivariable calculus course available at this link: https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-02sc-multivariable-calculus-fall-2010/.
Still, a multivariable calculus mission with exercises would be really nice :).
More missions in higher-level math in general would be nice, I think. The missions are what kept me using Khan Academy to review math that I learned 15+ years ago, and they gave me confidence that I was really learning the material. With some of the higher-level courses, I watch the videos and understand them, but don't really know my own mastery---which means I have to go to another resource anyway.
I agree. Looking for course mastery on multivariable calculus.
Would love missions on any higher level math! (beyond calc 2)
