Unable to change a Wrong Birth Date

I just realized I had my sons' birth dates switched. I was able to switch one (from age 12 to age 14) but when I try to switch the one the other way around, I get an "invalid birth date" sign. I've been trying in their accounts, but can't see how to access this bio information in the parent account. Please help! Thanks!
