Really need help. Solve for x: log 2 (log 16 x) = -2
As a general rule, you can do the same thing to both sides of an equation (except for dividing by zero). The goal is to find something to do that will make the equation better or simpler.
For example, if you have the equation "square_root_of(x) = 2" then you can square both sides to get "x = 4".
In this case, you need to find the operation (addition, division, log, exponent, etc.) that will simplify the equation, and then apply it correctly. If you don't know what that operation is, then review logarithms and exponents.
