How can we help?

U could not be learning much from Khan just due to not understanding the hints and videos. Also if u think it's just u and ur not.good at multiplying decimals, I had to do.that for 6th grade and I probably did 250 incorrect problems be for I got five in a row. And I'm normally really good at math, it's just a hard concept

I know the feeling Iv been reasonably good up until I hit 6th-grade negative number then it goes awkward a few practices iv not been so good at like in 6th-grade negative numbers x=-16 and the absolute value practices, allow I understand about absolute values now and opposites but somehow when it comes to that on the negative number line I wonder why I kept getting it wrong sometimes I felt like I was failing maths but I say to myself just move on no matter how many you don`t get on with just move on and do the next one, the way I'm doing it is do everything that is not to do with pre-algeebra etc first then move on to pre-algebra and so on to build a foundation of understanding even if its maths and then move on to algebra etc because you will need to know the absolute value, place values etc to do algebra so that's what I'm doing whether its maths by grades or maths by subject.

Hello Annabelle,

Sorry no one has offered feedback to you as a Student I can say I have personally have difficulty with decimals and fractions and I am just starting again while I learned and passed the subject when I was younger I missed allot in the end so I am using Khanacademy.org to master mathematics.

Often you will see Khan pop up with a message for feedback often this is a way to help them see if Khanacademy.org is working for you and seeing if its helping you as they only want to cater to your learning needs.

I can say everyone has the same feeling and questions and this is probably not due to khanacademy.org but its more towards ourselves in learning I don't know why all of us seem to have this fear and this is what Sal Khan is trying to teach us its okay not to understand the subject its not about the speed or pace of what you learn its about learning and understanding the subject which you will learn and master one day.

You are your own learner and remember should you seem to be having troubles rewatch the videos etc. It may help you. Aslong its okay with your teacher/coach you can always take a break from that subject and move on and do another lets say fractions etc. your still learning math but at the same time your giving yourself a small break to refresh your mind sometimes our brains overthink which leads to being frustrated at times which again is not khanacademy.org but more of a challenge with ourselves.

Always remember you "Khan" learn anything!

Proud to be a Khan Academer
