How do I draw a division symbol on iPad App?

You can always use the / symbol if you cannot get the ÷ to be drawn. A stylus seems to work for me though

I usually just use th / sign. I'm trying one of the mastery questions and I can't make an X. any ideas?

To write 2x + 4
You need to write the x in D'nealian style writing.

Justin, often a star is used to represent multiplecation. Ex: 2*5=10

Ok obviously none of you have used the iPad or you wouldn't be telling me to "type" something in. You can't type on the APP.. So i just can't type X. and I'm not trying to make a multiplication sign either. I want X AS IN 2x-5=3xy+4. The APP only gets input from the user drawing with their finger to create the symbols and I cannot create an X.

@ben Have you used the app? The "/" does not work. Anyone have a solve for this yet?

When I use the faction symbol for division - problem is incorrect. And also, it will not let me draw a traditional division symbol on an Ipad.

Any suggestions??

AHHHHH! I cannot do the division sign with the/ and with the stylus, PLEASE HELP!!!!! It is going to a 1 or a = sign!?!?!?

It's the same for me using the iPad app. There is no way to make the division sign. It either shows up as a 1 or = sign. If you use a fraction it counts the question as being wrong.
