new practice

I'm not an English speaker by birth. but i live in the united states and taking the PSAT test as a freshman was sort of tough for me because my vocabulary is not as good as the test makers think. So I was wondering if a new kind of practice be added to the SAT practice just for improving vocabulary. I don't really know how the practice should look like but if there was a practice for me to learn at least some of the words that appear more frequently in my PSAT exam i would've did a better job.
