Feature Request - Optional Assignments in separate tab from Class Assignments

As a teacher, sometimes I want to give remediation or extension content to a few of the students in my class or I might want to give optional work available to the entire class. However, I don't want those assignments to be grouped with the mandatory class assignments for all students because it can overwhelm and confuse them on which assignments must be done and which are optional. It also clutters my teacher 'Scores' page with extra assignments that are a lower priority, aren't given to everyone or won't be recorded in my grade book. On the student side, in addition to the "Assignments" and "Past" tabs, it would be nice to have something like an "Optional Assignments" tab that can track more individualized instruction clearly and efficiently. On the teacher side, maybe a filter in the Scores section could separate the types of assignments.
