Option to hide grade level

Hello,

I was wondering if there has been consideration to hide grade levels on topics? Many special education teachers use sites like this to practice foundational skills with older students. It can take a knock to our students' self-esteem to see they are working on elementary levels still in high school. It would be great if "grade" could be replaced with something like "level". I hope you take this suggestion into consideration! This is a great website and resource.

Agreed. I am helping my kiddo catch up on skills she missed in previous grades and it would just be nice to not have the fact that she is behind thrown in her face with the title. :)

It's truly awful. I have a kid who just walked out of the classroom and said he didn't want to do "fourth grade math" (I assigned 6th grade math but okay) so I said "okay, I'll assign you something else," and when another teacher went out to talk to him he admitted it was actually too hard.

IXL hides grade level. Why can't Khan? At least for assignments.

Mastery learning is cool, but if you want to help kids have a positive mindset about learning, why not remove grade level labels? Or add an option to.
