Creating a Curriculum for Self Study & Career Prep
I'm preparing for the grind of switching career fields and making up for lost educational opportunities back in high school/college.
My undergrad was in Music (read: basically zero math in college; stopped after Algebra 2 in HS). My goal is to move into Finance.
My question is this: what would make a thorough but efficient schedule of courses? Should I just follow what many of my more traditionally academic peers did? That is: Algebra I > Algebra II > Pre-Cal > Stats & Probability > Cal I > Cal II.
Could I swap College Algebra in for Algebra I & II? I'm probably of average intelligence, mathematically speaking, but it was never my focus and has long since been out of my practice.
Appreciate your help!
