n-1 as an exponent
How do I enter n-1 as an exponent on my exercises? I tried the exponent button, but it only allows me to add n and not n-1
Hi Cory, If you insert '-1' in the exponent, you then use the left arrow key to move the cursor before the negative sign. You then add the 'n' to get 'n-1' as the exponent. This has worked for me, hope it helps you out!
Alternative to Jett's suggestion I like to use (), if you press the exponent button, or press the ^ button on your keyboard , shift+6 for me, and then immediately press ( then KA won't exit the exponent until you press ). This makes it easy to write whatever you need to as an exponent :)
Ok so I cannot put n-1 as an exponent in my exercises in KA, and I have tried everything, plus, I’m on mobile. So can anyone tell me how to do it?
