Community Update: Introducing the KACP Challenge Council!

I'm very excited to announce a new community program for our Computer Programming platform - the KACP Challenge Council!

The Challenge Council consists of a small team of active members of the KACP community who work together to develop contests for KACP over the course of a year. The Council will create one contest each month for the KACP community, handle the judging of the projects submitted, and announce a winner each month. Monthly winners will receive badges recognizing their achievement.

If you're interested in applying to the inaugural group, please read over the application process and requirements here, and then we'd love to hear from you!

Applications for this first group are OPEN NOW UNTIL JAN 21, 2018 (11:59pm PST).

This is a great step for the KACP section, official contests were a big part of community drive and incentive to make awesome programs, I'm thrilled they will be returning! =)

This means so much to me. It shows that KA actually does care about what the community says, and I know this was inspired by the #revive movement. Thanks, KA for doing this! I think it will attract and retain tons more users.

I have one question. I am considering to apply for the council, but is it possible for me to enter a few contests and then apply? I'd like to get a Golden Winston... it's been one of my KA dreams =)
