Could someone please explain to me what conjigate means I have seen it alot on the website but i haven't learned about that in my 7th grade English class?
Hi Bob,
Hope this answers your question as cited from "https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/conjugate"
What kind of thing did you hear it about. Was it for example about conjugating verbs? If yes, then it means to change a verb to match by who/when an action was/is going to be performed. This is done in different ways in different languages.
Here are some English examples:
Present tense, first person (singular): I see
Present tense, third person (singular): He sees
Past, second person: You saw
The word conjugate can have some different meanings too, for example in chemistry.
