I was searching for a good school that offered a variety of classes and I came across a few. I checked them out and although some did offer a multitude of courses, it wasn't what I wanted. Some, you were able to audit, do a trial for a week or 30 days, then if you want to continue, then you have to pay a certain amount monthly. When I came across KHAN Academy and discovered some very interesting courses, I decided to check them out. For one thing, these courses are free which is something you don't often see. No time limits which you feel you aren't rushed, the courses itself is presented very well with excellent graphics, lots of practice, and easy to understand what the teachers say. I was interested in the math and I needed review on Algebra and I was surprised there were so many practice problems and if you need more review, then there are many additional videos to supplement and laid out in a fashion where you learn everything step by step with very good illustration which is drawn like on a chalkboard and quite colorful. How can you fail by doing all this? It is almost like being in a real class in front of an instructor. What also struck me is many of the courses are from quite a number of well-known Universities and Colleges throughout the US and other countries such as the UK. If you have a problem, there are many FAQ's to help you and if you need further assistance, you can directly contact KHAN support. You generally get an immediate answer. Overall, I rate this Academy ***** stars and is geared for anyone.
