How can I implement the coding courses in homeschooling?

I am a homeschooling mom (first year). I would like for my 6th grader to take some of the Khan coding courses. I watched a couple videos and have a few questions regarding practice. I watched the first and second video but did not see any place where my learner can actually practice the methods shown. Will I need to buy a special program for student to practice? Is there a practice space for coding within Khan Academy? Or, am I completely missing something that is in the video or on video page?
