Student Usernames and Passwords

Hello Amanda! My name is Lisa Krueger and I am a Khan Academy Ambassador teaching in Chicago. I am sorry to hear your students can not log in. If you go to the Manage Students tab and select class in question you can retrieve the students usernames; however, you can not get their passwords.

1. Have the students go to Khan Academy
2. click Sign In
3. click Forgot? in the Password field.
4. enter their email and then click Reset password

Hopefully this helps. Please let me know if they still can not access their accounts. Thank you for posting. 

What if you signed students up without e-mails? How do they retrieve a password in this case?

Hello Brian! Do you know if your students had their parents add their emails? If so then the parents can reset their child's password. If not I am not sure how you retrieve the passwords but I will reach out to the KA staff and see if I can get an answer. Thank you for posting.

I have students username and password or at least I think I printed it.  However, when I tested it on  a school computer I was not able to get in the site. 

Please help. 

Hello MayAnn! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with getting your students up and running. Have you tried the following process?

1. go to www.khanacademy.org
2. click Sign In
3. enter username & password

This should prompt students for some basic information before they get started. Please let me know if you still have trouble logging students in or if you have any further question, comments, or suggestions. Thank you for posting.
