How can we help?

What is a streak and how do I keep it going in the reimagined Khan Academy experience?

Updated

A streak tracks your consistent learning progress on Khan Academy. You earn a streak by gaining at least 1 proficient skill in a week.

You can find your streak under Achievements. This is where you can see your current streak count and track your weekly progress.

How do I keep a streak going?

To keep a streak going, you must achieve at least one proficient skill every week.

  • The streak window runs from Monday at 12:00 AM to Sunday at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
  • If you earn at least one proficient skill before Sunday ends, your streak continues!
  • Your streak count will update the following Monday.

You can earn proficient on a skill through exercises, unit quizzes, or unit tests.

Why did my streak end?

Your streak ended because you didn't earn at least one skill to proficient during the prior week.

To start a new streak: Achieve at least one proficient skill.
