Troubleshooting the Connection to Your College Board Account


If you see a connection error message in your Official SAT Practice Dashboard where your connection to College Board should be, try unlinking your Khan Academy account from College Board.

To unlink your account, click on your name in the upper right corner of the page, and then click on Settings in the dropdown menu.

On the Settings page, scroll down to the Connected to section and then click on the Disconnect from button.


You'll be asked to confirm that you want to disconnect from College Board; if so, click OK. Your account will be disconnected from College Board, and you'll see a success message confirming it:


After successfully unlinking accounts, re-link your Khan Academy account to your College Board account.

You can do this right from your Settings page by clicking on the Connect to button:


Or you can return to your Official SAT Practice Dashboard and click on the Sign in to button:


Either method will take you through the steps to connect your Khan Academy account to College Board; follow the prompts to complete the connection.

Re-linking should fix the connections between your accounts, but if you're still having trouble, please Report a Problem and provide us the following information so that we can investigate:

  • The message of the error shown on your screen
  • A screenshot of the error message
  • A screenshot of the console log while trying to link your accounts
  • How long the error has been occurring.
