Community Update: December 2018 Programming Contest Winners (Be Creative)!
Thank you to everyone who participated in December's Programming Contest! The theme was about being creative, and the winning entries showed a range of interpretations to this. One project down stereotypes about "the typical programmer," while others created interesting games and short stories with accompanying animations. The coding prowess demonstrated in each of these entries was truly fascinating -- congrats to all on a job well done!

Why we chose this program:
This program completely nailed the theme of this contest! The creator did an excellent job of redefining who programmers are, and breaking the stereotypes of computer science. Additionally, the block-programming environment was very creative!

Why we chose this program:
This program has lots of fun designs and colors. The gameplay was designed wonderfully, and some of the levels proved to be quite challenging! Several of these levels took quite a bit of creativity to beat!

Why we chose this program:
The colors and designs in this program all work very well together, and they give the program a unique style and feel. The frame-by-frame animations were very creative, and they did an excellent job of conveying the creator's message. The message itself was also very inspiring!
