How can Khan Academy Districts Teachers use the Quick Assign feature?

Teachers in Khan Academy District partnerships can quickly generate links for Khan Academy assignments. Sharing these links on your preferred platform or LMS can make accessing the assignment easier and quicker for your students!

How to use this feature?

1. Upon creating a new assignment for your district-synced class(es), the Quick Assign pop-up will show the share link automatically

  • A perk of this feature is that even if the student wasn't given the assignment on Khan Academy, as long as they are in the class the assignment was made in, they will be able to access the assignment through the share link!

NOTE: the share link is not available for Course or Unit Mastery goals. It is available for every other type of assignment on Khan Academy though, including Khanmigo assignments.



2. The share link is also located on the "Manage" tab

  • Then click on the three dots on the right side of the page, followed by "Share" from the dropdown. 

3. Copy and share the link with your students!

  • Once they complete the assignment from the link, they will receive a credit for the assignment in your class.

NOTE: If a student is not a part of your class, then they will receive the below error message, notifying them that they do not have access to that assignment. Please be sure to double-check that the students are all added to your class before sending them the link.
