How can I change the language that my mobile app uses?
Updated
Good news!
You can now adjust the language for the Khan Academy mobile app in both Android and iOS, starting with versions 2.4.0 and 6.4.0, respectively.
Having multiple, readily available language options is one of our top community requests, and we’re excited to add it to these versions. You can now choose to use Khan Academy in:
- Armenian
- Bangla
- Bulgarian
- Chinese (simplified)
- Czech
- Danish
- English
- French
- Georgian
- German
- Indonesian
- Korean
- Norwegian
- Polish
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Portuguese (Portugal)
- Serbian
- Spanish
- Turkish
- and more to come!
To change the language set in your app, please follow these steps:
- Run the Khan Academy app.
- In the app's Home page, tap the gear icon (⚙) for you to access the Settings.
- Tap on Language & Region.
- Once there, select the desired language.
Note: For iOS devices, this only works if you’ve updated to iOS 13. If your device uses iOS 12, the operating system will automatically set the app's language based on your device's language settings.
