Assign bar appears even though account is not a teacher

I have unchecked the Teacher checkbox in the Roles section of my profile, but the Assign bar still appears whenever I am in a lesson, with an Assign button in the top right corner, and the rest of it empty. It doesn't affect anything, but it's kind of annoying.
