I am a geologist. I’ve encountered factual errors in content in the AP Environmental Science course. I reported some of the issues with no response from KA. There are errors in the Plate Tectonics and Energy sections. These errors would have been caught had they been reviewed by a true subject matter expert, perhaps with a PhD in geology (who would also know about chemistry and physics or geophysics. Sometimes the errors were factual, other times they were misleading because of oversimplification. These errors are obvious to a geologist with a BS degree. Current AI can be used to fact check KA content to find initial errors. Review by PhD level subject matter experts is recommended for all content. Generally, math sections are great as is. Have others encountered these issues with content? If so, has KA addressed factual errors?

I have tried to get KA to address issues with typos in transcripts/captions, issues with poorly taught math, and issues with errors in statistics terminology (specifically around the use of "quartile"), mostly with little to no effect. Usually a KA staffer will respond that they have forwarded the issue to the appropriate team, and I never hear whether any changes were made, 'cause apparently KA does not think it's important to get back to users who report such problems.

If you were willing to list 1-3 of the worst geology errors (the error, the exact place it occurs, and a reliable source that counters the error), that might get attention. (Or it might be a waste of your time & effort, if KA does not address it.)

Thank you for your response Janice. I reported some of the geology issues, specifically with some plate tectonics errors and I provided reputable sources for correct answers. So far, I have not heard back from KA about anything that I have ever reported, thus my community post here. Thank you again for responding and for your suggestions.
