Re acceleration formula
The formula provided is as follows
x=x0+v0t+1/2at^2
x - x0 =1/2(v0 + v)t
It's likely that one of the formula is wrong since the v0t is not half.

Both of those equations are very widely accepted as correct. What do you mean by “the v0t is not half”/ why would that make one equation wrong?
