Credits/Hours for each course

Khan Academy is a robust supplemental resource for your high schooler, but it is not meant to serve as an accredited institution that awards course credit or diplomas. In order to obtain course credit, you should speak with an advisor at your son or daughter's school to determine where an accredited online course can be taken. During your student's time taking their accredited course, they can use Khan Academy as a fantastic supplement to their learning.

Khan Academy is not an accredited school, so work done on the site does not count toward a diploma or degree program. Khan Academy is designed to be used as a supplement for normal schooling, whether that be homeschooling or traditional schooling.

That being said, most courses on the site are designed to fill one full school year.
