Physics courses - in which order is it supposed to be worked on?

Quick summary - Take the Physics course unless you want to get practice exercises, unit quizzes, unit tests, and a course challenge. If this is the case, take AP Physics 1 and then either the remainder of Physics or AP Physics 2 plus what then has become the remainder of Physics.

More detailed information:

I spent most of 2019 working on Physics. I found that the Physics course contains AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 combined into one course. The AP courses are meant to prepare high school students for the Advanced Placement courses in Physics given in the United States and possibly also in Canada. There are a few differences, though:

1. AP Physics 1 has practice exercises, unit quizzes, unit tests, and a course challenge, Physics has some practice exercises, unit tests, and possibly unit quizzes in some of the early topics, but then there aren't any more later. Physics does not have a course challenge.

2. AP Physics 2 is almost a duplicate of the second half of Physics. However, Physics has a few extra topics: Special relativity, Discoveries and projects, and, on the website only (not in the apps) Cosmology and astronomy are the ones I can think of. There may be more. (Cosmology and astronomy is available as a separate course both in the apps and on the website.)

3. Some of the AP Physics 1 material comes later in the Physics course, after some of the AP Physics 2 material. Conversely, some of the AP Physics 2 material comes earlier in the Physics course, before some of the AP Physics 1 material.

4. There are also some videos and articles that are only in AP Physics 1 but not in Physics.or vice versa. While there are a handful of practice exercises in Physics, some ore duplicates of ones that are in AP Physics 1, but others are not in AP Physics 1.

I wouldn't be surprised if Khan Academy eventually comes out with an enhanced AP Physics 2 course, with practice exercises, unit quizzes, unit tests, and a course challenge plus more videos and articles that emphasize material for the AP Physics 2 test.
