I work with economically vulnerable individuals in the Washington D.C. Metro area.  Unfortunately, the number of GED classes keeps declining and they are not offered where our clients can reasonably use public transportation to attend.  I have read several posts that request a GED prep curriculum be added to the Khan Academy.  The response is generally that they can go to their local community college or public school district to find inexpensive classes.  We assist our clients to become self-sufficient, but if you are in a shelter, any expense is too much.  Also, as many have commented, lack of transportation and childcare are huge barriers.  Please reconsider and develop a GED prep class to give these individuals a second chance!

Hello! 6 years later im screaming. please

Is there a GED prep course? Based on the comments made years ago, and since there is not one listed on the courses page, I am going to assume there isn't one. There needs to be one. It would serve so many disadvantaged people. Could someone explain why there is not a GED course? Also, if there is one and I have missed it could someone please direct me to it. Thank you.
