Update: New features for Android and iOS apps for back-to-school!

Welcome back to school! With our Android 2.4.15 and iOS 4.4.1 releases, learning with Khan Academy on your mobile device has never been easier or more fun! Here are some new features that the mobile team is excited to have rolled out before class starts:

• Assignments: The assignments you’ve gotten from your teacher or coach now show up on your mobile device.

• “Practice” changes: Previously, most exercises would ask student to get 'N in a row' problems correct in order to be considered 'practiced.' This goal of this update is to improve student experience around our practice mechanics by making them more encouraging and forgiving, which is a request we've heard from many teachers, parents, and learners over the years. We also hope that this update will reinforce students' growth mindset by showing them that even if they don't correctly answer N-in-a-row the first time, they've worked hard and are moving in the direction of deepening their understanding of the material.
