Statistical coding lessons to supplement the statistics lessons (learn by doing)
Hi,
I've been wanting to teach some family members how to do hands-on statistical analyses while they are learning the underlying principles involved.
To that end I've been creating a series of YouTube videos that show students how to apply the principles learned in a particular Kahn Academy lecture to real-life analysis using R (see below). However, there's no reason that the more applied, coding side of statistics can't be addressed on Kahn Academy itself, and I thought I'd raise the possibility of complementing the statistics instructional videos with coding tutorials so that learners can learn how to do statistics while they are learning about it.
Best,
Stephen Cranney
