make energy points useful!!

Badges are awarded for earning points. Tesla is one of them.

Hi guys, I'm new on Khan and I'm confused about the badges and what they mean. Do they mean anything? And what do the Meteorite badges mean also? Because I have 11 of them and nothing else. Can someone help me please?

Sry, I don't want to be a burden.

Kenzie Gleason the badges don't do anything 😭 they're just there and you can stick them up on your badge showcase thing for when ppl check ur profile but that's all to it. that's why i was suggesting to make energy points useful cos they're basically pointless. like you get the points, then the badge, and then... nothing. it's not even fun to collect badges atp 🥀 trust me i've been on khan for 3+ years now. they really need to gamify the whole thing a bit to make it more motivating. and dw you're not a burden at allll 💗

Maybe you could by stuff like avatar borders, and maybe even visual effects?

🦖Leafersaurus🦕 yess kinda like how u gotta buy visual effect and avatar borders on discord.

Apparently they used to have backgrounds that you’d get to stick behind your avatar a few years ago, but then they changed the avatars and decided that the backgrounds looked weird with them and removed them. Apparently there was a black starry one that you got for 1 mil points. 😮🤩

I said “apparently” because I only joined KA 13 weeks ago, so I obviously wasn’t around back then. Also…I’ve gotten most of the easier badges, and I’m not even halfway through my grade. My showcase has Copernicus, Fredric Douglass, Awesome Listener, Wave and Flame. Once I finish my grade I’ll have the highest sun mastered skills badge, Newton, and then after that is like Black Hole, which is a huge gap. Fredric Douglass as well. It’s already the second highest, and the highest is BH. The level and streak badges also get pretty spread out.
For example, I’m gonna get the Torrent one soon for level 25, and then after that is 50, which is a pretty big jump. And then 75 and 100.

And don’t worry Kenzie Gleason, you’re not a burden to anybody. Technically I’m probably still “new” to Khan as well.

There used to be Da Vinci for 500 mastered skills. There also used to be badges for 500000, 750000, 1000000 and 2000000 energy points, but they were all removed for no reason back in 2020.

Yeah, what a bugger. They’d be nice to have, I could stick them in my showcase to show that I actually am progressing, not just stuck with the lower badges.

All of the backgrounds plus badges that they took down
