More Articles (Intro to computer science - Python)

The Python course already has articles in every unit, not just videos.  For example, Unit 1 Lesson 2 starts with the article https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/intro-to-python-fundamentals/x5279a44ae0ab15d6:computational-thinking-with-variables/x5279a44ae0ab15d6:program-execution/a/data-types

I'm confused by your post.  Is it that you have not noticed the articles?  Is it that you want all the concepts explained in articles so you don't have to watch videos?

While the Python course does have articles, I think what would assist further practice is mastery levels for completing challenges (if that's possible), or unit tests and course challenges -- with the caveat that those are solely for the practice exercises as opposed to programming projects, which are best learnt by doing and experimenting with feedback.

Thank you for clarifying "I am asking that all topics taught in the course have articles." (Perhaps you can understand why I was confused, since your original statement "I would like for at least some topics in the course to have articles as well as videos, not just videos." has a different meaning -- it asks that some topics have articles, not all topics.)

While you are welcome to give feedback to Khan Academy about your preferences, they seem to rely heavily on videos for teaching.  (Also, I am unconvinced that posting in the Support Community has much impact on the choices Khan Academy makes unless you get lots of votes and comments supporting the post.)
If you want to learn Python without having to watch videos, you may need to do it somewhere else.

Thank you Arty River Body of Water Roslyn and JaniceHolz, my comment is indeed irrelevant to the content suggestion for articles. However, I had shared it as it's related to the larger discussion on expanding content for Python.

The Content Requests page here asks to leave a comment n the thread if an idea has a post already. So I thought that articles and exercise suggestions would belong in a Python discussion thread rather than open up a brand new post. Thank you!

Ah, I guess I understand your thought process.

However, I think you are mistaken about how broad a topic is intended.  I don't think all possible suggestions about improving anything in the Python course need to be in the same thread.
