Is it possible to reset the streak counter?

My nine year old son has been maintaining his Khan Academy streak now for over 63 weeks, but we recently went on vacation and didn't have access to internet for a few days which caused him to lose his streak. He is of course heartbroken and I was wondering if it was possible to set his streak to what he had before it reset to 0 as it was not his fault that he wasn't able to maintain his streak!

Hi Arun,

Unfortunately, we cannot restore streaks, and our system does not allow exceptions. I understand this may not be the answer you were looking for, but I hope your son continues making great progress.

I am truly sorry that we can't do more for you in this case.

Fernando, well technically it should be feasible to implement some kind of “suspend account” function freezing any stats but also preventing login and earning EPs. I do not see any need for that, though, since with good timing you can have ca. 13 days of rest.

Anur, I think it is an important learning experience that these are just worthless “internet points”. I hope you had a great vacation.
