What is students use join codes multiple times?

As this semester has started, I've noticed on a daily basis prompts to update new students in the class. This of course is normal to an extent as students log in for the first time. However, an error on my part, I left a join link posted for a long time, which might mean students could have been using that to load the site each time. I noticed a student in particular who previously had completed a couple of assignments but no longer shows them as complete.

Is there an issue if the same student (same account) joins the same class multiple times? Thanks

Hello Mr. Minyard,

Thank you for reaching out! The fact that the student clicked on your link/used class codes multiple times shouldn't affect their status in the class. Meaning that their class status won't be refreshed every time they go through the link.

About the assignments being lost, this seems to be a different issue altogether. If you would like us to take a look at it, could you please submit a support ticket for the issue?
