As I do the exercises, I have yet to correctly solve a single one. The hints mention something about substituting p, but I have no clue what to do next.

For example p^2-5p=0

Can anyone give me a clue? Yes, I have watched the video several times.

p^2-5p=0

p^2=5p

0=5p/p^2

0=5/p

5/p=0

I don't know the correct answer but I think this can help.
