Adding students instead of parents

I'm having a bit of trouble adding two students to my class. I worked with their parents to use the class code to sign up from each child's profile, but it seems to have added the parent's profile to my classes, instead of the students'. What am I doing wrong here?

I am having the same problem. I am trying to add my child to a class with the class code and it's adding me instead.
