Division intro idea
Besvaret
Hi everyone. I'm going through all of your math course and I'm currently doing arithmetic. In the division section I had a problem in which the question is: Kat walks 30 dogs. She walks 5 dogs at a time. Which expression tells us how many groups of dogs Kat walks? I'd say I have 30/6 = 5 to have 6 groups of five each. But the answers are: ---- 5/30 --- 30×5 --- And 30/5 --- , and this is the correct answer. If I compute 30/5 I get 6. I understand I have 5 groups of 6 each. Help me understand the concept please.
