Managing Assignments

Hi KVerse!

I am wondering how people are managing their assignments.

Specifically, after assigning work in the Assign Tab, I can see assignments listed in the Scores tab and the Manage tab. BUT, when I return to the Assign Tab, those videos, exercises and quizzes that I've already assigned are no longer checked. I can see that when assigning future topics as the days continue, it will become impossible for me to keep track of what I've already assigned, skipped or still need to hit.

any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I agree that you need a system in order to keep track of everything and it will really depend on how you are structuring your distance learning.

I can tell you what I do and maybe you can see if you can model it to work for you.

In regular times, I would go to the unit that we are working on and assign all of the lessons and SAVE them. That way I knew that in my saved work I had all of the things that I wanted to do for that unit. From there I would assign the lessons as I saw fit. In that way I was able to give my students practice work after I had taught the lesson or quizzes and unit tests when I was ready for them to practice multiple skills.
