I would like to request an on-site playback speed adjustment option.

I have been working on the Javascript course, and there are some videos where the speaker talks too quickly for me to process the information. I know that I could watch the video on YouTube and adjust the playback speed there, but that means that I cannot easily pause the video and tinker with the code to confirm my understanding of the concept.

I have a video speed controller extension on my browser, but it doesn't seem to work on the coding videos. The code tinkering mechanic is one that I frequently make use of and value greatly, but it's challenging to have to pause the video, read the transcript for the previous 10 seconds or so, then replay that section to hear it verbally explained while the code is being typed because the speaker is going too fast.

I am familiar with coding already, and i know the commas and stuff. I have seen the videos earlier too (some 3 years ago). But i have forgotten the syntax and what do particular commands do, and so would like to quickly brush things up.

But as of today (2020.05.12 - Tue) i cant find:
- <strike>an article containing all the codes and syntax (also called code glossary by some teaching site). This would be much much better for people like me who are already familiar and can navigate around themselves, just have forgotten the particulars</strike>
- the ability / option to change (speed up) the playback speed of interactive videos of computer programming course (see Drawing Basics for example). <br> I know i can watch it on Yt, but it wont be interactive and wont earn me points and stuff :')
So, this post is regarding the request / suggestion for ~~~these 2~~~ this thing.

I also face this. i had created that issue (the above comment) , but just found this (post), so thought to paste here in case that one is deleted as duplicate of this one.

OP Madeline can u please update the title here to make it more specific to the programming videos (since the playback speed for other ones can be changed now)?? You can copy the title i used:
