Practice SAT through Khan Academy

I am looking to have my 7th grade students take the Practice SAT through Khan Academy. I want them to get feedback, as they take the practice PSAT in 8th grade (as a whole district). I'm looking for them to sign up for College Board, get feedback as a 7th grader, and then see their progress as they take the test in 8th grade. However, I have a few questions:

1. Students can sign up for College Board for free, right?

2. I can then assign them the Practice Test through Khan Academy?

3. Will they get feedback on how they did for free? Does the feedback come through College Board or Khan?

Hi Andrea,

I'll address each of your questions individually.

1. Yes, students can sign up for a College Board account for free. There are no costs associated with a College Board account, a Khan Academy account, or the Official SAT Practice through Khan Academy.

2. There isn't a way to "assign" the practice tests like other content on the site, however, as a teacher you can still view their progress and scores provided that they have enable SAT data-sharing on their accounts.

3. When they take a full-length practice test on Khan Academy, they will get personalized recommendations on what areas to study to improve their score. The SAT practice also has a customized practice schedule, practice goals, and recommended exercises for each student. All of this is for free.
