Why all the practice became multiple choice question?

I think that this may be due to trying to prepare students for multiple choice standardized exams.

One thing that can make multiple choice questions more difficult is to use include All of the above and/or None of the above as possibilities as well as including situations in which one or more of the choices are correct. Khan Academy uses these concepts (sometimes worded differently). The presence of these drives me crazy sometimes!
