If our family was to go through an AP course next year, how well would a learner be prepared for taking an AP test? For an example, if I were to take, let's say, AP Calculus AB next year, how well prepared would I be to take the AP Calculus test? And how long would it take? What would scheduling look like?
Is there a way to check with others' experiences? Thank you :)

Hi Joey,
Personally I think the AP content does a pretty good job of preparing you for the exam, especially the AP Calculus content. AP courses are traditionally year-long classes in most high schools. The AP Exams are in May, so content is usually taught from mid-August when school starts to mid-April. The rest of the time is spent reviewing for the exam, such as by taking a practice test or working through previously used problems.
