Class challenge/contest

Hi Amberlea!  My name is Megan G and I am middle school math teacher in Chicago.  I also work with Khan Academy as an Ambassador.  Last spring, Khan Academy hosted a math and growth mindset challenge called LearnStorm.  During this event, I used Khan Academy in my classroom and made several interactive bulletin boards with growth mindset posters for my students.  When students would unlock badges on Khan Academy digitally, I made physical copies (purple colored) of the badges as well and they were able to add it to our classroom bulletin board.  Students loved being able to visually see their progress.  This could be one way to generate student engagement on Khan Academy.  I attached a couple examples of the bulletin boards below.  Hope this helps generate some ideas for you.  Please be sure to come back and share any photos of the bulletin boards you create in your school for the Khan Academy community!  I have also attached the link to NEW Khan Academy posters that you can use to decorate your bulletin boards.
