Old School -- Plan for getting through Calculus?
Hello, my name is Robin. I have recently returned to college after 24 years to complete my 4 year Accounting degree, so I can go on to get my Masters and take the CPA exam. It's been 27 years since I've done any algebra or geometry. I enrolled in the Calculus class I need to graduate and had to withdraw from it, because it was too much to relearn and learn at the same time. The summer sessions are only 5 weeks a piece, instead of a normal 16 week semester. Is there any specific plan you suggest I take to help me go through all the math I will need for Calculus? I plan on retaking it in the Spring '18, when I'll have more time to absorb the material, but in the meantime I want to go over all the concepts I'll need for the class. I have gone online and ordered used school books that cover Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Trig, so I can at least have something to look over. I don't want to waste time on anything that I won't need. I would appreciate any help that you could give me.
Thank you for all your help.
Robin Hughes
